Columbia Lake Eastside

BC Conservation Foundation provided $25,000 to the purchase of the 258-hectare East Columbia Lake property in partnership with the Fish & Wildlife Compensation Program and the Nature Trust of BC. This parcel helps secures critical habitat at risk for East Kootenay wildlife. Conservation of habitat critical to elk, white-tailed deer, mule deer and waterfowl within the East Side Columbia Wildlife Management Area.
