BC Conservation Foundation granted $30,000 to the Nature Trust of BC in 2006 to purchase and manage part of the 67.7 hectare Bull River Grassland Corridor.

The Bull River Conservation Lands Complex in the Western Kootenays is located near the confluence of the Bull and Kootenay Rivers. The land acquisition protects winter ranges for elk and deer, and provides habitat for the American Badger and Bighorn Sheep.

This property provides important grasslands and open forest linking various conservation lands within the Bull River Conservation Land Complex.
