information located in the individual watershed summaries has been taken from
the Greater Georgia Basin Steelhead Recovery
Action Plan (Lill 2002) and A Recovery Plan for East Coast Vancouver Island
Steelhead Trout (Wightman et al. 1998). Additional information has been adapted
from the proceedings of annual steelhead workshops in support of the GGBSRP and
restoration projects administered by the BC Conservation Foundation. Each page
is watershed-specific and gives examples of habitat and stock assessment data
as well as restoration projects. The
Greater Georgia Basin Steelhead Recovery Action Plan includes recovery options,
restoration strategies and steelhead stock classification for 60 Focus Watersheds.
Additional habitat restoration and stock assessment continues on selected Watersheds
of Interest with some of the information on key watersheds presented here.
