Restoration: Englishman River Habitat Restoration The
Englishman River restoration project was completed in the summer of 2004 with
additional restoration planned for the summer of 2005 as an initiative of the
Englishman Watershed Restoration Project and the Steelhead Recovery Plan. This
project placed wood structures and boulders in the Englishman River to create
fish habitat for threatened stocks of steelhead trout and coho salmon. This work
was originally completed from prescriptions generated by the report entitled
Fish Habitat
Restoration Designs for the Englishman River (Gaboury, 2003, 4.5MB
PDF, opens in new browser window) with additional reports including
Construction of Artificial Fish Habitat in the Englishman River, 2004 ( McCulloch
2005, 2.8MB PDF, opens in new browser window)
and
