This
site identifies the strategies and details activities of the Steelhead Recovery
Plan as it attempts to stabilize and restore wild steelhead stocks and habitats
to healthy self-sustaining levels in the streams of the Greater Georgia Basin
(southwestern B.C., Canada). The "Action

of the recovery plan, stock status/trends of abundance and an implementation strategy
for the plan.

The
primary objective of the Greater Georgia Basin Steelhead Recovery Action Plan
(GGBSRAP) is to "…stabilize and restore wild steelhead stocks and habitats to
healthy self-sustaining levels" (Lill 2002). The GGBSRAP was developed to act
as a template for the recovery of steelhead stocks in the Georgia Basin. This
document identifies the objectives of the recovery plan, stock status/trends of
abundance and an implementation strategy for the plan.
