For conservation projects that require unique expertise, BCCF will often contract work to environmental professionals who specialize in the project's specific focus.

All BCCF contractors must meet the following requirements:

1. Contractor must be self-employed (i.e. you maintain your own consulting business)
2. Contractor must be registered and in good-standing with WorkSafeBC
3. Contractor must carry $2 million in 3rd-party liability insurance
