Regional Personnel

Joanne Neilson, Regional Manager, Southern BC

Prior to joining BCCF as a full-time administrator in 2007, Joanne worked on a wide range of field-surveys and stewardship initiatives, primarily focusing on species-at-risk. While working on these projects Joanne honed her skills of working within the constraints of strict budgets, maintaining data integrity, and engaging a wide variety of stakeholders (including all levels of government) to get tasks accomplished in a positive, timely manner. Her first-hand knowledge of equipment, safety-issues, and the rigors of field-work have been  beneficial to ensure the employees she oversees are well-prepared for their assignments. Before becoming involved in the environmental field, Joanne worked in technical and management positions in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors of the animal health industry.

Kerry Baird, Regional Coordinator (Fisheries)

Kerry has a solid background in all aspects of project administration including contract monitoring, budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting. She is currently responsible for the coordination and administration of 42 BCCF Fisheries-related projects in the Lower Mainland with a total project value of almost $1M, funded from multiple sources. Included in Kerry's current responsibilities is the administration of a 3-year Living Rivers program in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island and its suite of 36 projects totaling $2.675M.

Lisa Limerick, Assistant Project Coordinator

Lisa joined the BCCF team in 2008 and brings with her many years of customer service experience. Lisa's primary role at BCCF is assisting our employees with her cheerful and helpful approach. While trained in the hospitality sector, Lisa is passionate about our environment and is enjoying the opportunity to learn about the wide range of conservation projects and issues in our province.
